5 Reasons Why you should Love your Haters

I am pretty sure we're all familiar with the phrase "kill them with Kindness" or "Love your haters". The problem with this is that people tell you to do these things without telling you Why?. It's not easy to love someone who clearly doesn't like you, and to be kind to someone who gossips about you, especially since you don't even know why you're doing so.
Well, I'm here to let you know why you should love your haters. Yep, you heard it, Love your Haters.

Who are your Haters?

Before we can talk about loving your haters, we have to define who your haters are.
Your haters are the people who are always trying to bring you down. They are the ones that gossip about you, mock you, are jealous of you, indirectly insult you, bully you, show they dislike you or just low-key despise you. I think we've all had our haters, some more than others, and we can't wait to get away from them. There are some people who insist on being friends with their haters, in denial of their true colors and moving on only when the person has done some damage. Back to the point, that's the criteria so know your 'haters'.

You aren't being negative by acknowledging that you have haters. Whether you choose to see it or not, a persons emotions and intentions with you are what they are.

Now that you understand what and who haters are, you're probably asking yourself "Why on earth should I like let alone love a person like that?".

Let me tell you:

Because God Says So

A hater and an enemy is the same thing, and God has told us in Matthew 5:44 to 'Love our enemies' and to 'Bless those who curse us'. The Creator of Heaven, Earth, me, you and life itself knows what He is talking about . Following Gods instruction is like following a study guide;life is an exam and the bible is all the study material we need to pass. Of course this will not be easy but you can pray for help and God will surely help you.bottom line, Your loving creator says so, so love them

They See Your Worth

They see my worth? Yeah, I know it sounds weird but it's true. Haters usually envy something or are threatened by you. You can't be threatened by something small and you can't envy something undesirable, so in others words, they see something big or desirable in you that triggered their insecurity and that's why they're hatin'.

Take this example:

The smart girl in class who is nice to everyone and the popular girl who doesn't do to well in school. As glamorous as the popular girls' life may seem, she is not happy because she doesn't do well in school and her parents aren't happy about that. The popular girl sees the smart, nice girl doing well in class and being liked by people so she gets jealous and starts bullying her. Why? because smart girls' intelligence and kind character threatens her and she hopes that by causing problems in the smart girls life, the smart girl won't be able to enjoy her intellectual gift but instead start looking at it as a burden.

Haters are truly fans in denial. When you realize that, the essence of their words will lose their sting because you'll know it's just coming from a broken place in themsleves.
But hey, they see you!it does not condone their horrid ways but they see your ability and worth, so ignore their words and instead acknowledge that fact. They know you're worth πŸ‘€πŸ’™

They Motivate You

I don't know about you, but knowing that someone is hoping for me to fall makes me want to keep rising. Knowing that someone is holding their breath to see me break makes me force strength. Without knowing it, your haters become part of your motivation. You should be careful not to let yourself get carried away with being 'motivated' by them to a point that you're faking a life and a face just so they don't get pleasure. With that said, let their hate make you shine brighter and refuse to be dragged down into the mud pit of their judgment.

They Make You Stronger

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Haters are like bacteria in your life and they immunize you from diseases like negativity, self-loathe, manipulation...etc. It's not always a pretty process and sometimes haters group together as bullies. Recovery road from them isn't always easy but along the way, you find your sense of humor, your laughter, your joy and your self.πŸ’› What man intends for evil God uses for your good.

They Make You Better

Have you had someone so horrible in your life that you thought to yourself "I never wanna be like that"? Overtime, our haters actions start becoming lessons and we start self-molding ourselves into better people by looking at them as the "who not to be" guide. You become a better person because you decide not to be mean, ugly, hurtful, gossip...etc.

Last Notes

Loving your haters does not mean let them make you their carpet, and it does not mean tolerate their behavior. It simply means love them. From a distance if possible.

Loving is not always easy, and loving people who don't love you back is worse but we must realize that loving our haters and enemies is something we do for ourselves and our own sanity. Fire doesn't stop fire and hate doesn't stop hate. Love a little more and you will find you live a little more.
